Man of God
Sorry I'm a couple days behind. Was anyone else intrigued by the "man of God" that spoke to Jeroboam? They never mention his name. He was just a guy that God sent.

hmmm maybe the author forgot the prophet's name? hehe... but good thing his name will be written in the book of life (Phil 4:3)
And another "man of God" spoke to Ahab today as well (1 Kings 20:13,14,22,28)
Ya, I remembered reading about him. He followed directions at first but was deceived and fell into the devils trap and was mauled by a lion. The man of God had deep convictions. He was strong about not staying over for night and eating at the kings place..even if the King gave him half of his possessions! But soon he was lured into the trap of a false prophet. I guess you can have deep convictions and state them all you want but if you don't act upon it...you will me dead in the middle of nowhere with a lion and donkey standing beside you.
Also, I just find it interesting that the lion didn't harm the donkey. The lion had a mission and it was carried out.
Thx Justin for pointing the man of God out, we can learn a great lesson from him.
ohhhh, that man of God... thx for the reminder and great insights T :)
