The reading the day before was also interesting. God tells Ezekiel what was happening back in Jerusalem, while Ezekiel is in Babylon.

Ezekiel's Wife
So today (for me August 21), God tells Ezekiel not to mourn for his wife. Wow that's tough. That'd be a hard one for me.

yea, mustv been hard for Ezk to not mourn for his wife :( he was so obedient... n for the record I'm stilllll ahead of u muahahaha (but still not on the current date)
That would be hard. He is also an example to the people who are also not to mourn about getting captured.
